RURAL WOMEN INNOVATORS (RUWI) AWARD

The Rural Women Innovators (RUWI) Award, part of the GRASS CEILING project, celebrates and empowers women who are driving socio-ecological innovation in rural areas. It aims to increase the number of women-led innovations in farming, rural economies, and communities, fostering sustainability, inclusion, and well-being.

The award recognises the crucial role of women and organisations in promoting innovation and positive change in rural areas.

The winner, who was announced on November 2025, gained visibility, recognition, and the opportunity to present their work at the GRASS CEILING Final Showcase Event, which took place on 4 December 2025 at the European Parliament in Brussels. All travel and participation costs were covered by the project.
