Showcase innovations
During the Final Showcase Event, women representatives from each of the nine Living Labs will take the stage to share their experiences, insights, and talk of the transformative impact of their participation in the GRASS CEILING project.
Their stories will highlight the challenges and successes encountered in fostering innovation and inclusion within rural communities across Europe. This session will not only celebrate their achievements but will also provide a unique opportunity for meaningful networking, connecting policymakers, researchers, and practitioners committed to advancing gender equality and sustainability in agriculture.

Policy Forum: Building inclusive pathways for rural innovation
As part of the GRASS CEILING Final Showcase Event, the European Policy Forum, coordinated by AEIDL, will present the project’s key policy tools and recommendations to foster gender-responsive innovation in agriculture and rural areas.
The session will feature two interactive roundtables bringing together EU policymakers, researchers, and experts to discuss inclusive pathways for farming and rural futures and explore practical ways to integrate gender responsiveness into EU innovation and monitoring frameworks.

Honouring Rural Champions
The Final Showcase will serve as the venue for celebrating excellence and inclusion in the sector. This exciting GRASS CEILING event will coincide with the broader Copa-Cogeca Women’s Innovation Award Ceremony.
This collaboration creates a fantastic opportunity for high-level networking, celebrating female leadership, and sharing best practices across the European agricultural sector. We are proud to host the presentation ceremony for two pivotal initiatives (the GRASS CEILING Awards):
Rural Women Innovators (RUWI) Award: Coordinated by our partner AEIDL, this award celebrates and provides visibility to women who are driving powerful socio-ecological changes in rural communities and the agricultural sector.
Parental Leave Champions (PARCA) Award: Coordinated by our partner Copa-Cogeca, this complementary award recognizes men and organizations whose actions actively promote equitable parental leave, challenge stereotypes, and create the supportive environments needed for women innovators to thrive.
Save the date!
Mark your calendars and save the date to join us the 4th of December in Brussels as we reflect on the success and lasting impact of the GRASS CEILING project!
